Service Outline The council in partnership with public transport operators, provides various services to help meet public transport needs, including:-
- financial support for local bus services
- transport information
- improving bus stops and shelters
- operating Beverley and Bridlington bus stations
- supporting community based transport schemes including the East Riding Rural Transport Partnership
- promoting local rail services including supporting the Yorkshire Coast Line Community Rail Partnership
Cost Discount There is no charge for use of the bus stations but there may be charges for facilities available within them.

Charges will apply to journeys made on public transport services, however these are determined by the bus operators, not the Council.
Additional Information 1. We provide financial support for many local bus services especially in rural areas. We also fund Dial A Ride services such as Medibus and MiBus.
2. We provide public transport information in partnership with local operators. This includes:-

- The Yorkshire Journey Planner. Yorkshire Journey Planner

- The BUSCALL telephone timetables enquiry service with operator partners 01482 22 22 22 (open 0800 to 2000 hours daily).

- Manned TRAVEL POINT ENQUIRY OFFICES at:
- Beverley Bus Station: 0730 to 1700 Monday to Saturday.
- Bridlington Bus Station: 0930 to 1430 Monday to Friday.
- Driffield EYMS Depot: 0830 to 1230 and 1330 to 1700 Monday to Friday.
- Elloughton EYMS Depot: 1010 to 1415 Tuesday to Friday.

- BUS STOP TIMETABLES (with operator partners).

3. We co-ordinate bus stop & shelter siting, renewal & replacement. We are also upgrading stops and shelters on key corridors using Local Transport Plan funding, often in partnership with Parish and Town Councils. We also have a partnership scheme with Adshel for the provision of a number of shelters.

We manage the operation of Beverley and Bridlington bus stations and Hessle Square.

4. We support community based transport initiatives including the East Riding Rural Transport Partnership.

5. We work in partnership with the train operating companies and neighbouring Local Councils to encourage the improvement and development of local rail services.

We also support Rail Development Humber (RDH)and the Yorkshire Coast Line Community Rail Partnership
