Performance Target 1
To maintain an effective enforcement regime ensuring that a minimum of 60%
of all permit holders, operating within the Committee`s District, are inspected
annually

To maintain a consistent level of offshore enforcement. Ensuring that North
Eastern Guardian III undertakes a minimum of 170 sea patrols (including 20
Saturdays & Sundays) and 170 boardings annually and Humber Protector
undertakes a minimum of 30 sea patrols and 30 boardings annually

Performance Target 3
To maintain a consistent level of land based enforcement. Ensuring that Sector
Fishery Officers complete a minimum annual total of 600 SF1 inspections and a
minimum total of 200 `out of hours` patrols

Performance Target 4
To maintain close contact with all partner agencies, ensuring that at least four
joint enforcement exercises are undertaken per annum within the Committee`s
jurisdiction

To continue the Committee`s external consultative programme with
representatives of all sectors of the fishing industry, including the establishment of at least one industry working group before the end December 2009

To continue the development and implementation of the Committee`s ICT strategy

Continue to review Committee Byelaws through the Scientific and Byelaws
working group ensuring that they are relevant to modern fishing practice

To continue the Committee`s programme of innovative externally funded projects, in particular, those that explore relationships between fishing activities and the marine environment

To develop formal environmental objectives for Committee agreement by December 2009

To develop a formal management plan for lobster stocks occurring within the Committee`s jurisdiction by December 2009
