Welcome to the Calibration Test Centre site.

The Humber Authorities Calibration Test Centre was officially opened in October 1994.

Staff at the centre have specialist facilities to accurately calibrate a range of equipment for mass, volume, length and temperature.

Since 1996 it has been a partnership between the four Humber Authorities shown below.

At the same time there was a growing demand from local industry for traceable calibrations for ISO 9000. This was recognised by the European Regional Development Fund and a grant of £360,000 was made to enable state-of-the-art equipment to provide calibrations to small to medium enterprises.

The centre provides free advice to local businesses on calibration matters.
