Learning Support
The Adult Education Service encourages and welcomes all residents of the East Riding to participate in every part of our programme of learning. You may require additional support for example, large computer screens or keyboards, adapted furniture or portable hearing loops. Please enquire at your local centre about the help we can provide.
Learner Support
There are funds available to help give financial support to those who are on low incomes or have a household income of less than £20,000 per year. These funds can be used to help with transport to classes, course materials, childcare costs or books and equipment. If you think you may be entitled to some financial help, please ask at your local centre for details. Please be aware that support with transport, materials etc is limited and when funding has been full allocated, learners will be expected to pay for anything the fund would have supported.
