Mission Statement
The Adult Education Service will deliver responsive, high quality, accessible learning and training, ensuring equality of opportunity to meet the social, personal and employability needs of learners, employers and local communities.
Aims of the service

To adapt to changing needs and circumstances, be innovative, entrepreneurial and co-operative in the delivery of learning and training.

To engage, support and update skills for those who are most excluded from education, the labour market and society, particularly the newly unemployed.

To train local people in the skills employers want now and in the future.
