Business and Administration Level 2 NVQ - This course is intended to give you an understanding and basic practical knowledge of the fundamental aspects of modern office systems and technology.
Entry requirements: Learners need to be either employed or working as a volunteer in an office environment.
Customer Service Level 2 NVQ - This course focuses on problem solving, developing good customer service and supporting new improvements in customer service.
Entry requirements: No formal requirements but learners need to be either employed or working as a volunteer in a customer-focused role.
Team Leading Level 2 NVQ - This award is aimed at people with line management responsibility for a minimum of 2 people. This NVQ focuses on your performance at work and how you use your skills and apply your knowledge and the resources available to achieve results.
Entry requirements: Good communication skills. Learners need to be either employed or working as a volunteer in an environment which requires them to supervise at least two others.
To assist with the work required to complete the above NVQs, learners without GCSE English or Maths qualifications can access relaxed and highly supportive in-house courses leading to the National Tests at Level 1 & 2 in English and Maths.

Customer Service - Fulfilling Customer Requirements - This unit forms part of the full Level 2 NVQ qualification in Customer Service and as such attracts a level 2 Unit Certificate. It aims to develop an understanding of fulfilling customer requirements as required by a practising or potential team or cell leader.
Entry requirements: No formal requirements but learners need to be either employed or working as a volunteer in a customer-focused role.
Developing Yourself as a Team Leader - This unit forms part of the full Level 2 NVQ qualification in team Leadership and as such attracts a level 2 Unit Certificate. It aims to develop an understanding of what is required of an effective practising or potential team leader, including roles, responsibilities and leadership styles.
Entry requirements: Learners need to be either employed or working as a volunteer in an environment which requires them to supervise at least two others.
A1 Assessors' Award - a level 3 certificate in assessing.
Advice and Guidance Support NVQ - Level 2 - ideal for those who have particular customer service and administrative job roles.
Computerised Accounts - all you need for accounting purposes in business.

Conflict Resolution and Personal Safety Level 2 Certificate (one day) - This course teaches the terminology used in conflict resolution, the relevant legislation, the concept of a safe working environment and how to assess conflict risk. It also covers the use of appropriate methods to resolve a confrontational situation and the importance of personal safety. Please note we also offer the 30 week Conflict Management Level 2 Certificate.
Food Safety in Catering - CIEH Level 1 Certificate (one day) - This award provides an ideal solution to staff induction training. The course is also well suited to individuals handling low risk or wrapped foods including: new employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge, employees handling wrapped foods, front of house employees such as waiting staff or check out staff, back of house employees such as kitchen porters or warehouse staff. For those working at a more experienced level we also offer the Food Safety in Catering - CIEH level2 Certificate.
Health & Safety in the Workplace - OCNW Level 1 (On-line course) (one day) - This course provides practical understanding of key health and safety issues.
Stress Awareness Level 2 Certificate (one or two day) - This award supplies learners with an understanding of stress and the ability to identify likely sources of work related stress, the range of symptoms and effects it can cause and the options available for its control.
German for Business Step 1 (one day) - Learn how to say and understand a few common phrases and find out about the business world in German speaking countries.
