School Admissions

Collection of school images

The East Riding of Yorkshire council publishes a set of criteria to determine the allocation of school places in the event of over subscription.

The section does not deal with admissions to nursery. These are dealt with directly by the relevant school/nursery.

Apply for a school place here.

Catchment area

Catchment area is ranked the highest. In order for you to determine your catchment area school you can enter your postcode in the search field below and a list of local schools will appear - click on one to view further details.

If you are considering naming a school other than your catchment area school as your first choice, you should think carefully about what your chances are of getting a place.
