East Riding of Yorkshire Education Welfare Service has appointed an Education Programme Worker with responsibility for child employment and the licensing of children in entertainment.
The Service licenses children and young people to take part in activities such as performing and modelling and sporting demonstrations.
The Education Programme Worker will provide advice and guidance on all matters relating to child employment.
Any child below compulsory school leaving age, including those who have not yet started compulsory schooling, who wishes to undertake in any kind of performance, must apply for a Performance Licence.
