On completion of the form please ensure that:

Line manager forwards the completed EDR form to the employee for signature and the signed form must be returned to the manager.

Line manager keeps the original form and gives a copy of it to the employee.

Line manager ensures that the employee's Learning Development Plan is copied and sent to the Training and Development Co-ordinator. This must happen even if no training needs are identified.

The employee, line manager and school have a shared responsibility to ensure that the agreed actions are carried out, monitored and reviewed.
