The main requirements relevant to public authorities
are:
to prepare and publish a Race Equal Scheme (which must
include arrangements for meeting a range of additional specific
requirements)
to monitor the ethnicity of their workforce to ensure it is
representative of the community served
to monitor a range of other indicators such as job applicants,
promotion applicants, disciplinary and grievance cases, etc.
