Charges and Fees

There is no charge made to personal visitors to the Treasure House.

We do make charges for some of the other services that we provide.  These charges are listed below.

All charges are discretionary with the exception of copy certificates from baptism and marriage registers.

Photocopies

• A4 black and white page - 50p

• A3 black and white page - 70p

• A4 from microfilm/fiche reader - £1.00

• A4 or A3 colour - £1.00

• Handling charge for orders by post - £2.50 per production item

• Scan or digital image - £1.00 per scan

• Self-service A4 microfilm/fiche printer reader – 50p

• Self-service A4 from research room copier – 10p

• Self-service print out from public access computer – cost of paper/voluntary contribution.

Certified copies

• Certificate from parish register, marriage - £7.00

• Certificate from parish register, baptism - £9.00 (statutory charges governed by Ecclesiastical Fees Order or Registrar General)

• Certification other than registers - £5.00.

Register of Deeds

• Copy memorial - £22.00

• Copy certified memorial - £27.00

• Copy plan - £6.00

• Search fee, per half hour - £12.00.

Photography

• Personal use of camera in research room - £10.00 per day, unlimited number of shots

• Photography of items can be arranged through a local commercial photographer. There is a £20.00 administration charge for transporting items to photographer plus the photographer's costs for negative, digital image and print.

Reproduction for publications

• Reproduction for publication in printed or electronic format, per item produced - £25.00, at discretion of Archives and Local Studies Manager.

Search Service

• Search fee, half hour - £12.00.

Talks

• Talks and Lecture Fee - £30.00, at discretion of Archives and Local Studies Manager.

Hire of meeting rooms

Education room hire (maximum 30 people)

• £20 per hour for business or private groups.

• £14 per hour for charitable or educational groups.

• £10 per hour for East Riding of Yorkshire Council departments.

Meeting room hire (maximum 10 people)

• £16 per hour for business or private groups.

• £14 per hour for charitable or educational groups.

• £8 per hour for East Riding of Yorkshire Council departments.

Out of hours

Please note an additional fixed rate applies

• £30 per hour for staff costs.

Consultancy fees

• Outside consultancy work, talks for commercial organisations - by negotation.

Records storage charge

• Cost per linear metre - £5.00.
