 East Riding Club Accreditation Scheme

Congratulations go to the following local sports clubs who have achieved the East Riding Club Accreditation Scheme (ERCAS) award in the past month.

The scheme works as a partnership between the East Riding Council for Voluntary Youth Services (ERYCVS) who co-ordinate ERCAS Level 1 and the East Riding Sport & Play Development Service who administer ERCAS Levels 2 and 3.

Welton Water Ski Club, Molescroft FC, Chevrons Netball Club, Willerby Jags FC, Renaissance Sword Club & Goole Tennis Centre have all achieved Level 1 accreditation with Hull FC Cheer, Dance & Trampoline Club having achieved the Level 3 standard.

Congratulations also go to Aramis Sub Aqua Club, Vale of York Polo Club, Middleton Tennis Club, Beverley Beavers Adult Badminton Club & Pollington Juniors FC who have renewed their Level 1 accreditation, Cottingham Tennis Club, Beverley Haltemprice Judo Club, Haltemprice Judo Club who have successfully renewed their Level 2 accreditation and Driffield Karate Academy & Hull Kung Fu who have renewed their Level 3 accreditation.

The aim of the scheme is to promote a quality club infrastructure focusing on key areas such as child protection and implementing health and safety measures. A further requirement for all junior clubs is to have qualified coaches and CRB police cleared volunteers.

For further information on the accredited clubs please contact Adam Toes, community recreation officer, on (01482) 392524 or email adam.toes@eastriding.gov.uk or or view our accredited clubs list
