To find out if you require Planning Permission or Building Regulations Approval, you can complete the "Do I Need Planning Permission?" form.
Once the form is completed, return it to us and we will confirm whether permission is required.

Make a planning application
As part of the Planning and Development Control Services commitment to provide the best possible service, you can now either make an application online or download application forms together with guidance notes for completion.

To download all types of planning application form (except for minerals development or hazardous substance consent) and guidance notes visit: Planning Applications Downloadable Forms.
Send the completed form to the address given above (please do not send applications by email - use the Planning Portal for online applications).
