Public Access for planning is an online internet service that allows you to view details of planning applications being considered by the council as well as some planning history.

Public Access allows you to:-
- Monitor the progress of planning applications
- Submit comments about an application
- Search a constantly updated list of applications validated and decided each week
- View details of planning appeals.
- View details of some historical planning applications
- View property details by reference to a map
- Clicking on the 'Associated Documents' tab within Public Access will enable you to view current planning application documents online. These include plans, application forms and decision documents.
Please note – To search using a reference number do not include ‘DC’
The planning application details contained within Public Access are updated on a continuous basis.
If you would like further information about a current application or proposal, please contact the Planning Office via the comments box which you can find in the Public Access website.
