The logo must appear complete with the graphic elements and the lettering in the relative positions and sizes shown. The typeface used in the logo is Original Garamond - no other typefaces may be substituted. The words “East Riding” are in Original Garamond Roman and the words “of Yorkshire Council” are in Original Garamond Bold. The logo should never be adjusted, redrawn or modified in any way and must always be reproduced using master originals. The full colour version of the logo uses the colour Pantone 3288.

The full colour logo must always be used in colour publications and should be produced on a white background.
When colour is not available, or reasonable cost constraints prevent the use of colour, the logo may be used in black, as below.
When printing in single colour, or where the logo is to appear on a coloured background, it must always be reversed out in white as below. This prevents a scenario where different coloured logos are used. Please try to ensure that the reversed out logo is used on a dark background to aid legibility.
The width: height ratio of the logo is 6:1. To ensure legibility, the logo must never be reproduced smaller than 36mm x 6mm as below.
