Introduction to the new East Riding of Yorkshire Council website

The launch of the new East Riding of Yorkshire Council website is one of several key steps towards providing our customers with complete electronic government service delivery.

This website uses technology and design elements which will make it available to all browsers, mobile phones, digital television and PDAs, hitting all government accessibility targets. A new content management system has been developed giving constantly updated and relevant information. User feedback and customer surveys have supplied the design team with key information, which in turn enabled them to create simple and user friendly site navigation.

This combined with our advanced search facility, site map, site guide, latest news and feedback areas will hopefully give you a complete and satisfying user experience. For full details of this site please use the Site Guide link above.

Use the What's New area to keep up to date with our latest web developments and content. As well as the key sites we are launching now, many exciting, useful and informative areas are in development at this time. They will be released in the next few months and include at least 330 service requests online, a new comprehensive tourism site with accommodation and events search, theatre booking facilities, electronic forms and much more...
