| East Riding Libraries' Most Popular Reads | East Riding Libraries now have a section displaying the most popular books loaned from libraries. There are four categories and information on each book is easy to see, including a direct link from each to the East Riding Library Catalogue. The books displayed will change every quarter, so don't forget to check back every once in a while! |
| Floods information | In response to the severe weather and flooding in June and July, we provided local residents with support, advice and road closure updates via the East Riding of Yorkshire Council website. This page was, and continues to be, regularly updated with new information. |
| Target 45+ website | Target 45+ is the joint sustainable waste management strategy that both East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull City councils have adopted to deal with the region's waste until 2020. This website provides all the information you could need to help do your bit for the environment, from which types of household waste can be composted to information on how waste is re-used to provide energy. |
| Daily Pollen Count | Hayfever sufferers can find out more about pollen levels every day through a new facility on an East Riding of Yorkshire Council website. The service will be available throughout June and July, and can be used to check the current pollen count in several areas throughout the East Riding. |

| Air Pollution website | East Riding of Yorkshire Council has launched an air pollution internet site aimed at informing residents and industry about air quality issues. The council recently received national recognition for the site, coming joint third out of more than 500 local authority sites following a review by a national air quality magazine. |
