Most successful R&B group of all time make a debut appearance in East Yorkshire.
Boyz ll Men to perform first ever show in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, On 3rd February 2012 7pm. American R&B vocal group Boyz ll Men will be making their first ever performance in East Yorkshire as they take to the stage at The Spa Bridlington. Best known for their emotional ballads and cappella harmonies, Boyz ll Men have sold more than 60 million records worldwide.
Tickets for adoring fans in the 3,800 capacity venue will be on sale from this Friday (18th November) at the cost of £27.50 plus £2 booking fee. Across their whole career, the group have never visited East Yorkshire and the debut show is expected to be a sell out, especially as it takes place near Valentine's day and the group have some of the most well known love ballads in history.
Boyz ll Men fans will be treated to the likes of "End of the Road" a ballad that set a new record by staying at number one for 13 weeks, breaking a decades-old record held by Elvis Presley, as well as "I'll make Love to You" and "One Sweet day" (recorded with Mariah Carey), both of which exceeded records for the longest period of time a single remained at number 1. Boyz ll Men are the only artists that have stayed at the number one spot cumulatively 50 times, just fourth behind Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and Mariah Carey. Past Boyz ll Men shows have dazzled adoring fans, with those attending commenting on the incredible interaction with the audience, the electric atmosphere and many getting to meet the group in a post show 'meet and greet'.
Due to the nature of their music, Boyz ll Men have an incredibly diverse fan base of all ages, the show at The Spa welcome all ages, although those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets go on sale Friday 18th November.

The Vaccines

Following their recent sold-out European and UK headline tour, which culminated in 2 shows at London’s Brixton Academy, The Vaccines have announced to perform in the seaside arena on 3 May 2012 at 7pm. The Vaccines are: Arni Arnason (bass), Freddie Cowan (guitar / vocals), Pete Robertson (drums) & Justin Young (vocals / guitar).
They have also been announced to play next year’s Field Day Festival on June 2nd in London’s Victoria Park.
The band released their debut album What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, in March of this year. The album has gone on to sell 250,000 copies in the U.K. alone.
Additionally, they have just been confirmed to appear on this year’s Christmas Day Top of the Pops, where they will be performing their single If You Wanna.
Currently writing new songs, a handful of which were premiered on their recent tour, the band aim to release their second album at some point in 2012.
