The East Riding of Yorkshire Virtual Heritage Library

This is your gateway to searching heritage records information showing images where they are available. You may use this service to select our information resources and search and retrieve the data. East Riding Libraries hold more than 700,000 items that are available for loan or reference.

 

The Archives Service cares for the archives of East Riding of Yorkshire Council and all of its former authorities including the Humberside and East Riding County Councils.

 

The council's Museums and Galleries service contain collections including History, Geology, Art, Archaeology, Natural History and Heritage. You can also access the local volume of the Victoria County History. Start searching the Virtual Heritage Library.

 

The Library Catalogue

The Library Catalogue not only allows you to check the availability of stock, you can reserve and renew items on-line as well. All you need is the barcode from the back of your library card and a PIN number which can be obtained from your library.
