Where can I use my English National Travel Concession Pass?
You can use your pass on all local bus services in England, including London.

You cannot use your pass in Scotland or Wales.

When can I use my English National Travel Concession Pass?
You can use your pass between 09:30 and 23:00 Monday to Friday and at all times on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Please be aware that these time conditions also apply within the East Riding. If you wish to travel within the East Riding before 09:30 or after 23:00 you must purchase the Early Bird Bus Pass.
 

NOTE: If you are travelling outside the East Riding you are subject to the conditions of the Local Authority where your journey starts. Some may allow travel before 09:30, but you would need to check with them before making your journey.

If your English National Travel Concession Pass is endorsed with the blue logo shown on the right you can have one person travel with you without charge to act as your companion.
Where can I use my English National Travel Concession Pass with a companion?

You can use your pass on all local bus services running wholly within the East Riding and Hull and to terminal and intermediate points on all through services between the East Riding and Doncaster, Malton, Hull, Pontefract, Scarborough, Selby and York, providing your journey starts or finishes in the East Riding and is not broken outside the East Riding. You can also use your pass on the local bus service between Goole and Scunthorpe.

 

Although you will be able to use your pass throughout England you can only have a companion travelling with you without charge when travelling locally, between the places shown above.

When can I use my English National Travel Concession Pass with a companion?
You can use your pass between 09:30 and 23:00 Monday to Friday and at all times on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

 

NOTE: If you are travelling outside the East Riding you should check with the local authority where your journey starts about any additional benefits.

You will be able to use your pass as an East Riding Leisure Card (SURE Card). This will allow you to take part in various activities within the council’s leisure and sports facilities as often as you like for a fixed monthly price.

East Riding of Yorkshire council Leisure Services are currently working with our suppliers to be able to interact with the smartcards.

For further details pick up an information leaflet or call your local leisure centre. Please note that to activate this facility you must visit your local leisure centre.

The reverse of your pass carries a barcode and number allowing you to access the council’s library services, this can be activated at any library.

The council’s libraries provide a wide range of services including loaning books, audio books, videos/DVDs and music CDs. Why not visit your local library to discover the services available. Again this facility will remain inactive unless you wish to use it. 

Usage of the Internet has increased dramatically in recent years and people now expect to get access to many services through the web. The council has responded to this demand by adding more interactive facilities to its website.

MyEastriding is one of these facilities. Through MyEastriding you can access a wealth of useful information about your local area and make requests for services that will immediately notify the relevant council department.

You will be able to use you smart card with My Eastriding from May 2008.
