Our
objectives:
Provide access to second user IT equipment for all types of businesses, community groups and individuals across the East Riding of Yorkshire
Provide training, work experience and business support
Promote business growth through modern apprenticeships
Promote resource efficiency with our REI partners
RE-USING ICT
By re-using surplus computer assets owned by the local authority, the RefIT project can provide affordable ICT to anyone residing in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We also provide and install single or multiple units to new and emerging businesses. Free e-learning courses are also included in our business support programme.
As a authorised Microsoft Refurbisher we can provide second user computer equipment to registered charities and educational bodies with free licenced operating systems installed.
COMPUTER SUPPORT
We offer repair, installation and upgrade services for desktop computers and laptops using recycled components. Please contact us for more details.
COLLECTIONS
In partnership with Refurbit, Hull, we collect computer consignments from local businesses and destroy all data and tracablilty prior to reuse or disposal as waste.

Training
In
partnership with Humberside Information Training Services, RefIT is
accredited to deliver a BTEC Level 2 National Certificate in
Computer Engineering. The course is based in our workshop in
Bridlington and training hours are flexible to suit the needs of
learners. For further information please contact us.
In partnership with East Riding Training Services, RefIT is also accredited to deliver IT Practioner Apprenticeships. This is accomplished through work-based learning in a full time work placement. We are actively seeking both learners and work placements for modern apprentices to participate in this qualification. For further information please contact us.
