Picture this. A spectacular cliff-top position overlooking the broad sweep of Bridlington Bay, award-winning gardens, historic buildings and impressive interiors. What better setting could you imagine for photographs which you will cherish forever?
Sewerby Hall & Gardens is the perfect venue for civil wedding ceremonies and holds a civil wedding licence for The Orangery, a magnificent glass conservatory overlooking the South gardens and Bridlington Bay with seating for up to 120 guests. The Swinton Room is a smaller Victorian reception room, seating 80 guests, with a fine Neo-Rococo plaster ceiling and views onto the North Gardens.
Pre-booked wedding photographs only are permitted at Sewerby Hall and Gardens. The fee includes free entrance (during the charging season) for the wedding party and includes up to 3 vehicles (any remaining vehicles to remain in the adjacent car park on Church Lane). The wedding party must leave the Estate no later than 1 hour after the pre-booked time of entry, in order to allow other wedding groups or non-wedding events to take place. Please note that wedding photographs can only be booked within 3 months of the wedding day.
Sewerby Hall is also licensed for Renewal of Vows ceremonies and Naming Ceremonies. For further information about weddings in the East Riding, visit East Riding of Yorkshire Council Registration Services.
All costs can be found on our Prices page.
