Come and browse around Courtyard Crafts, at the heart of the Sewerby estate, and close to the Clock Tower Tea Rooms. Our workshops are used by local craftspeople who are always pleased to talk to you about their work and offer a unique range of souvenirs and gifts.

"Having started off as bee-keepers some twenty years ago we are now in our ninth year at Sewerby Hall. We have many different types of novelty boxed candles in the shape of animals and beehives, those not in boxes range from hedgehogs and snails to candles with angels on them.

There are those which float and rolled foundation candles in many sizes,colours and prices. You can make your own candle in safety as our rolling method requires no heat and candle making kits are available to take home with you.

We also have honey, natural cosmetics, soap, polish, waterproofing for boots, small waxed animals and blocks and much more.

Our shop is child friendly with many of the items at sensible pocket money prices and you never need to worry if the children want to pick up and touch everything."
