Social Services - Children and Families

Independent Visitors Scheme

For young people in care and have little or no contact with their family. This service is run by the NCH Action for Children working partnership with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The scheme provides specially trained volunteers to work with young people who are being Looked After, who may benefit from having an independent person to support them.

This contact is part of an ongoing childcare plan and must have been identified within a childcare review. For further details please contact:
