The Treasure House

Welcome to East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Treasure House website. The Treasure House is an exciting new development in the provision of heritage services.

 

For the first time, enthusiasts for East Riding history, will be able to access under one roof a wide range of locally relevant archive, library, art gallery and museum material. The Treasure House's state-of-the-art stores hold the collections of the East Riding Archives, Beverley Local Studies Library, Beverley Art Gallery, Beverley Guildhall and the Archaeology of the East Riding Museums Service. 

Visiting us

Visitors will be able to view documents, books, pictures, and historical objects from these collections in the ground floor Research Room. Staff are on hand to help with enquiries.

 

All parts of the Treasure House are accessible to people with disabilities.

Opening times

Monday - 9.30 am to 5.00 pm
Tuesday - 9.30 am to 8.00 pm
Wednesday - 9.30 am to 5.00 pm
Thursday - 9.30 am to 8.00 pm
Friday - 9.30 am to 5.00 pm
Saturday - 9.00 am to 4.00 pm

 

Please order in advance items required for use on Tuesday evenings or Thursday evenings by 3.30 pm on the same day. Items for Saturdays should be ordered in advance by 3.30 pm on the previous Friday.
