About this Site
East Riding of Yorkshire Council website provides information about the council and its services, and serves to promote the East Riding as an innovative and interesting area to live, visit and invest in.
The website has been designed to be accessible to as many users as possible. In developing this new content managed website we have built in accessibility assurance and standards compliance.
We are committed to complying with the Disability Discrimination Act and have made significant improvements to our website in order to reduce the barriers experienced by people with disabilities. By following Government guidelines, it is our policy to create pages to at least W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Priority 2 level (Double A).
