On Thursday, 28 August 2008 a spectacular line-up of the best acts around hits The Spa Bridlington for the biggest party of the summer.

UK pop sensation the Sugababes headline the Bash and are joined by a list of the most popular artists in the charts at the moment, to be announced shortly.

The Sugababes are one of the most consistently successful girl bands in UK pop history. With a huge catalogue of top 10 hits and best-selling albums the three glamorous girls Keisha, Heidi and newest member Amelle are fantastic live performers, and recently sang at Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Concert.

Ruth Puckering, marketing officer at The Spa said: “We are thrilled to be hosting another Brid Bash at The Spa Bridlington, especially after the building’s recent redevelopment.
“The Royal Hall has an increased concert capacity of 3,500 and we’ve already seen it in action with The Pigeon Detectives. The atmosphere will be amazing for the Sugababes and other bands.”

In 2005 the Brid Bash and Viking FM took Bridlington by storm, with the concert a sell-out success and the whole town buzzing with excitement throughout the entire week.

Brid Bash 2008 will be supported by a host of fringe events, competitions and activities both on the day and in the week leading up to the concert. More details on these activities to follow.
