Brief description

A trial scheme was introduced in May 2021 to convert road space to a new pedestrian area with cycle access within Saturday Market in Beverley. To take account of feedback to the initial trial, minor amendments were made to the layout and a further trial commenced on this new layout in November 2022. The current 18 month trial finishes in May 2024 and the scheme could be made permanent after this time. East Riding of Yorkshire Council is now seeking views on the current trial and next steps from stakeholders, businesses, residents and visitors.
