The specific needs of people living with sensory impairment in the East Riding are being assessed, learning what works and what more needs to be understood is a key aim. This consultation has been designed to enhance East Riding of Yorkshire Council's knowledge and will then inform future strategy development and service provision across the area.

This consultation includes everyone who considers themselves to live with hearing and/or sight loss either as a genetic/birth condition; as a result of health conditions or as part of the ageing process or as a result of injury. We are interested to receive views from East Riding residents with varying levels of sensory impairment, ranging from mild to severe, so we can understand your experience, whatever that may be.
