Brief description
The Draft SPD has been prepared to provide a step-by-step guide for applicants, planning officers, and developers on how the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) sequential and exception tests for flood risk will be applied when preparing and determining planning applications.
It will also assist in the application of the Local Plan Strategy Document Policy ENV6 Managing Environmental Hazards.
Once adopted, the SPD will become a material consideration in determining relevant planning applications.
