East Riding Design Guide Public Consultation

The East Riding of Yorkshire Council are looking to create some design guidance for new development taking place in the authority. This guidance would sit alongside the Local Plan policies and would act as both a tool for decision making and as a tool for applicants to show what needs to be considered before an application for planning permission is submitted to help make the planning process smoother. The responses to the questionnaire, along with some more targeted consultation where necessary, will play an important role in shaping a draft design guide document which will be available for public comment before a final guide is adopted. The more people who respond the better our evidence base will be so please encourage friends, family and neighbours to take part.
