The East Riding Local Plan Options Document is the first stage in reviewing the Local Plan that was adopted in 2016. A series of options and questions are presented in the document, responses to which will help shape a revised Draft Local Plan alongside updated evidence work and sustainability appraisal.
The Council is also undertaking a ?call for sites? for the duration of the consultation period. This is to help identify potential sites that should be considered through the review for inclusion in an updated Local Plan.
A Draft Site Assessment Methodology has been published for consultation. This sets out the process the Council will follow to assess and compare the suitability of potential development sites that are submitted in response to the call for sites.
