Brief description

We are looking to develop a better understanding of the lived experience of people who identify as transgender (trans) and/or non-binary and are working in partnership with colleagues across health and care services to achieve this. Our next step in this work is to understand the challenges and barriers that may be faced by health and care colleagues across Humber and North Yorkshire when working to:

  • deliver trans-inclusive health and care services and
  • provide a trans-inclusive working environment.

We are using the terms 'trans and/or non-binary’ as umbrella terms for any person whose gender is not the same as, or does not sit comfortably with, the sex they were assigned at birth. All responses will remain strictly anonymous. No identifiable practice or service information will be shared.
