Brief description
Yorkshire's coastal and marine environment is internationally recognised for its unique wildlife, diverse habitats, sweeping beaches, hidden coves, traditional seaside towns and extensive history. The coastline is a key element of Yorkshire's identity, and a healthy and productive marine and coastal environment underpins all aspects of our society. We are working to highlight the importance of this distinctive region, whilst supporting its long-term care and respecting sensitive places.
