What you told us
To improve employment options, many said further employment & benefits advice, support with transport or job applications and training opportunities would aid people of working age living with sight and hearing loss.Consequently, lots of you said improvements in staff and public awareness, wider pavements and advance notices of road/pavement obstructions would make moving around easier.
What we did next
Some of the early data for sight loss was explored further with a small focus group. The data was analysed, and a full needs assessment has been produced to highlight the issues raised and identify potential areas for action.Once the report has been fully approved it will be published on the website.
