Description

The purpose of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) is to create a Hull and East Yorkshire where nature, people and places thrive together. Once adopted, the strategy will help guide and enable nature recovery to provide multiple benefits for people, the economy, the environment. Alongside helping the region adapt to a changing climate, the strategy should also help protect many species that are now threatened or at risk of local extinction.

Whether you’re a resident, farmer, community group, business owner, or nature enthusiast, we want to hear from you! Share your views on the priorities for nature, including the actions needed to address them, where these actions should take place, and any supporting activities that could help make them happen and inspire others to get involved.

What we did next

The Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) for our area has now been published. It’s the first one in Yorkshire.
