Strategic themes

The devolution proposal intends to deliver significant change across 4 strategic themes, which are detailed below:

Enhance connectivity

The devolution proposal aims to:

  • create an integrated low carbon transport network
  • ensure the continued success of our ports and Freeport
  • develop our world leading digital capabilities to support collaboration and new ways of working.

Devolution could bring about important change in Hull and East Yorkshire. Thank you for having your say during the public consultation, which took place between 2 January 2024 and 27 February 2024. Your views have helped inform the decision to progress to the next stage of the deal.
