How do I stand as a candidate for town and parish election?

If you meet the criteria you can stand for election by completing a nomination pack for the relevant election.

If an election is contested (there are more nominations than seats available), an election (poll) will then take place on a specified date for people to decide who they wish to vote for.

Nomination packs and other information for candidates will appear below as and when an election is called. If you're unable to print the forms please contact the electoral services team and we will post the forms to you:
