How do I stand as a candidate for town and parish election?

If you meet the criteria you can stand for election by completing a nomination pack for the relevant election.

If an election is contested (there are more nominations than seats available), an election (poll) will then take place on a specified date for people to decide who they wish to vote for.

Upcoming election

The election for the new Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) will be held on 02 May 2024. You can register to vote online until 16 April 2024.
