Review of council owned sheltered housing

Name of consultation
Name of consultation
Review of council owned sheltered housing
Brief description

The Council is currently undertaking a comprehensive review of council-owned sheltered housing.  We want to ensure that the accommodation is of a high standard and designed to offer secure and attractive places for tenants to enjoy living in, whilst helping to promote independent living.  This recognises the important links between housing and health and wellbeing.

We are committed to consulting with our residents throughout the sheltered housing review and your opinions will help shape the future design of sheltered housing and who it should be allocated to.

As part of the consultation, the council will also be seeking the views of residents on the provision of support services offered in sheltered housing schemes.  This is to ensure these services are accessible, affordable and meet the needs of individuals in the future.

The first stage of this consultation will be undertaken using responses from this questionnaire, we hope you will take the time to complete it and by doing so let us know what is important to you.
