What is the Children and Young Peoples Strategic Plan?

In June 2017, the East Riding Children’s Trust approved the East Riding Children and Young People’s Plan for 2017-2020:

East Riding Children and Young People’s Plan for 2017 – 2020 (pdf 903kb opens in new window)

We have developed a brief plan on a page version:

East Riding Children and Young People's Strategic Plan on a page (pdf 95kb opens in new window)

The Plan outlines our overarching ambition and priorities for children and young people in the area, an ambition that is centred on the feedback which we received from extensive engagement and consultation with children and young people in the development of the Plan. The voice of all our young children and young people runs through this Plan and their ambitions are woven into our ten priorities.

Our priorities address the most significant challenges we face in delivering improvements in all our services in the East Riding. They are all aligned to the core themes that underpin our ambition.

How do I access the children's social care procedures?

The children's social care procedures are an up to date electronic set of procedures available for all staff working across children's social care.

The procedures are available here:
