What information is included in 'Your East Riding'?

'Your East Riding', launched in March 2011, is a quarterly magazine delivered to all households across the area. Each edition carries articles about the services the council provides. It also features localised news for the areas of Beverley, Bridlington and Driffield, Goole and Howdenshire, Haltemprice and Hunsley, Holderness, and Market Weighton and Pocklington.

When is Your East Riding delivered?

Your East Riding is delivered to every household by the second week in March, June, September and December.

Who should I contact if I would like to advertise in Your East Riding?

There are advertising opportunities available to public sector organisations and businesses working in partnership with the council.

What are the Your East Riding competition rules?

All competitions published within the 'Your East Riding' magazine are subject to the below rules:

  1. All entrants must be residents of the East Riding of Yorkshire.

  2. All entries must be received by the closing date as published in Your East Riding.

  3. The editor reserves the right to cancel the whole or part of any competition, game or promotion, or alter any of the rules at any stage, without prior notice.

  4. Winners will be notified within 6 weeks of the stated closing date.

  5. Where winners are unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made, the editor reserves the right to either offer the prize to a runner up or to re-offer the prize in any future competitions.

  6. The determination and decision of the editor on all matters are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  7. The editor reserves the right at their absolute discretion to disqualify any entry, competitor or nominee should there be a reason to believe that an entrant has breached these rules.

  8. No cash alternatives are available instead of the stated prize.

  9. Your East Riding and East Riding of Yorkshire Council accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury caused by any prizes won.

  10. Enquiries regarding accepted prizes won should be directed to the manufacturer or retailer as appropriate.

  11. Competition winners and/or entrants must be prepared to take part in publicity photographs and/or have names printed in Your East Riding.

  12. This competition is administered by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
