Model plane of silver painted metal, with registration number on wings and body - G-A CAB. Small Union Jack on tail fin. On black wood base, bearing a silver plaque inscribed 'Presented To Mrs. J.A. Mollison C.B.E. by the W.A.S.A. [Women's Association of South Africa? Or possibly, given Amy's known interest in motor sports it might stand for Women's Automobile & sports Association? ] London-Cape-London 1932'. The model is of the Puss Moth "Desert Cloud" that Amy Johnson used for her first record breaking flight to South Africa in 1932. Part of collection donated by Amy Johnson's father in October 1958.
