C.B.E. purple bow with gilt splayed armed cross having fleur-de-lys terminals, each arm of cross covered with silver-blue enamel, in centre a raised disc with border of red enamel enclosing Britannia in gilt metal. At top of cross a crown, on reverse of medal the monogram 'G.R.J.' with crown over. 'For God And The Empire'. Part of collection donated by Amy Johnson's father in October 1958.
