Description:
Roughly circular, flat-bottomed pale cream coloured dressed stone fragment. Two edges have small triangular projections, whilst the others have damaged, multi-pointed projections. The upper surface is dished and the edges are dressed. The label describes this as being a 'fragment of the Norman minster, re-used in the early 13th century building at Lurk Lane.'
