Plaster cast of miniature oval shield, boss in centre joined by vertical rib. Plaster cast made by J. R. Earnshaw, from chalk original in Grantham collection, Driffield. The original (dating to the Iron Age) was found in a gravel pit at Garton Slack during an excavation by Eric Grantham.
