Stuffed Green Sandpiper (Tringa ochropus): brown back, white stomach, green legs and brown bill. The sandpiper is a migratory bird that visits Britain mainly in the spring/autumn. There more normal habitat is northern Europe and Asia, though they do occasionally breed in the north of England and in Scotland. The sandpiper is a wading bird, that will often take over the old nests of other species.
