Stuffed Black Headed Gull (Larus Ridibundus). Unmounted. The gull's head is actually a chocolate brown colour, reducing to just a dark spot behind the eye in its winter plumage. It nests on salt marshes or sand dunes, but large colonies are also found inland, especially around lakes. The gull has a varied diet: - grass, refuse, fish, seaweed, worms.
