Stuffed Curlew (Numerious Arquata), in a wooden case. The species is distinguished by its long, downward curving bill. It is present all year round in Britain, moving to the coast in the winter. It breeds amongst cereal crops and on moors. Diet varies from frogs, worms, snails and insects in the summer, to crabs and other seafood during the winter.
