Description:
Seventeenth century copper alloy multi document seal (originally with four seals but one now broken off). Four tapering arms join around a circular central aperture. Each arm ends in a flat oval, engraved with a different design - an anchor, an owl and a rampant lion. The find has a smooth dark green patina. A metal detecting find from Flixton, North Yorkshire in about 2007.
