2 sherds from watching brief at Damson Garth, Lund, (grid ref SE9704 4784), in 1995. 1: Unstratified ditch trench. A basal angle of a Humber ware 1 jug - West Cowick type - c1300-1500AD. Red with black core. 2: Also a body sherd of 'Metropolitan ware', with brown glazes possibly from a bowl. Trailed slip decoration in white. Late 11th century. From area of Medieval village.
